I recommend if your dog is going to have surgery to get the vaccines many weeks before if you have that option. I only got my dogs core vaccines this year and she had surgery. I am assuming she caught something at the vet and now has a nasty cough. She is still eating and drinking and high spirits. I just worry it’s going to turn into pneumonia

like you say , the cat looks normal outside. Looking at the face, and you'd never know it was sick. Cat's are so damn good at disguising illness so that a predator doesn't notice them.

It's tough enough having something like heart failure in a cat, but at least it's not contagious. This FIP has similar physical manifestations and you say it is contagious. Yikes!

Hi! Any advice would be appreciated 🙏 I was walking my dog around some grass and dirt and he had a violent sneezing fit. it’s been 3 days and he is still sneezing lightly but more than usual for sure. he doesn’t paw at his face but sometimes he rubs it on the ground although he used to do that before. Ears are clean, one lower molar tooth has light infection that the vet gave an antibiotic for. He has light clear discharge and no other symptoms. Could it be a fox tail in his nose?? I’ve tried looking with a magnifying glass and flashlight and really can’t see anything. He is 17 and has heart disease so I don’t think this procedure is an option for him… thanks so much

same thing happened to my father catheter. He developed crystals in the tiny catheter someplace. Even a flush wouldn't clear it. Had to remove the catheter.

I made a paste of castor oil and baking soda and smeared it on her large mammory tumor, then I wrapped bandaged around her. I changed bandage everyday + paste. A couple weeks later the tumor has white pus and later oozed out orange liquid, the cancer tumor was emptying out!

I have a kitty who is still making circles after 2 weeks. My vet gave me clavamox which seemed to be working but didn’t fill it for the full 10 day dose so he only got 6 days out of it. I tried reordering and had to start his treatment again, lo and behold they shorted the amount again. There is no way I’m staring all over with the antibiotics as I know they are not good for the organs, however I did see some improvement happening with them. He is walking a bit straighter now but I’d love your opinion on what to do next. Neurologist perhaps? Or are there any other exercises at home I can do with him to strengthen his brain? lol, thanks for the info and the laugh bc I haven't been laughing since my 5 month old pup didn't cough until her hysterectomy surgery. She didn't started coughing until 8 days after the surgery. This is where it is weird. She has been isolated, completely from other dogs (so I know it can''t be Kennel Cough or intubation issues). I wonder if it is trachea collapse?! She is a 6 pound toy poodle.

Since I began using litellileextra coco onioon shampoo and hair conditioner, there's been a good reduction in hair fall. It feels softer and looks shinier. Compared to using other shampoos I faced more hair fall. Additionally, I've started using a scalp massager and I think is also contributing to reducing hair fall.

Thank you doctor Greg! My heeler had been limping after a play session. This helped ease much of my concerns about breaks. I’ll give him some aspirin and have him take it easy while we wait for our vet appointment!

Hubby and I adopted 4 kittens from shelter. We’ve had them for about 5 weeks and 2 are suffering from ringworm so we are about to dip all 4 to mitigate spreading and worsening. They are sweet babies and I’m glad we can help them. Folks should def not be afraid to adopt, treat, and LOVE these babies. Thanks Dr!

Our cat struggles with ear mites. He got hematoma but I didn’t know that’s what it was. Our vet recommended surgery. Our cat is miserable post surgery with drain and cone for 4 weeks! He was fine before. I had no idea you could just let them clot and reabsorb over long period of time.

I want to go to school so that I can open my own low-cost spay/neuter clinic in a rural area. I'm having a hard time adjusting to the idea of late-term spays. Luckily, I have to come up with the money to go to school, so I have plenty of time to adjust. Thanks for showing it all, especially the end.

I am surprised that you mention aspirin....everything I have read says NEVER to give a dog aspirin.

After flipping through several videos on identifying coughing in dogs, thank you for being the first and only one I’ve found that includes actual visual and audible examples.

Both vets I have been to have mentioned allergies to me, no one has mentioned ring worm, and now I have it myself in two spots. I am pissed! You would think only an hour from Cornell we would have better vets in my area. I am so fed up.

Normally when this happens, you need to reduce the fluid pressure in the cranium, for this LASIX or MANITOL IV is given immediately depending on the severity. Middle ear infection also causes imbalance along with Nystagmus. Do not wait even for a day without ETU treatment, should be taken immediately when symptoms are noticed. It happened to my 10 hear old GR and thank God, all were at home to rush him to the ETU.

You can absolutely do this at home! Avoid the ridiculous vet prices these days. Have done it several times with great success.
